Willodean Fisher Crane, 80, of Eugene and formerly of La Grande, died May 11. An interment service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Summerville Cemetery.
Willodean was born Nov. 2, 1929, to Walter and Johnora Huffman Fisher in Wallowa. She married Frank Crane Dec. 27, 1986, in Roma, Texas. They were married 18 years until his death.
She worked for the phone company in La Grande for 13 years before enrolling at Eastern Oregon College, where she graduated with a degree in elementary education in 1966. That fall, she went to Roma, Texas, where she taught third through fifth grades for 22 years at Bethel Christian School. She retired in 1988 and she and her husband returned to Oregon and pastored an Assemblies of God church in Alpine.
Willodean and her husband moved to Lane County 21 years ago. She was a member of the Family Christian Center in Springfield.
Survivors include two stepdaughters, Doris Wimpy of Junction City and Carolyn Lemmon of Hot Springs, Ark.; and two stepsons, Charles of San Antonio, Texas, and Jim of Bend; sister-in-law, Mrs. Burl Fisher; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Rev. Frank Crane; and four brothers, Sam, Howard, Zane and Burl Fisher.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Family Christian Center.
