William "Bill" Harrell McCadden died on October 15, 2007, in Chiloquin, Oregon at the age of 69.
Bill was born on October 23, 1937, in Cambridge, Idaho to William and Avys McCadden. He graduated from Council High School at the age of 15. Bill started college and played college football at the age of 15. He earned his Bachelor of Education from Idaho State University and later a Masters from Eastern Oregon University, as well as his Administration Certification from Portland State University. He was very athletic and played football, baseball and basketball in college.
Bill met and married Sharon (Wade) in 1960 in Enterprise, Oregon. They celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on August 6th of this year. Bill's professional career was spent in the education field. He taught and coached at Clearwater Valley High School in Kooskia, Idaho, and at American Falls High School in American Falls, Idaho. Afterward he worked as a teacher then Administrator in Joseph School District. In 19909 he relocated to the Klamath Basin where he was the principal of Chiloquin Jr/Sr High School until his semi-retirement, at which time he worked in the Klamath County School District as a Special Projects Director.
His philosophy of life to "never do anything half way," was demonstrated in his work and his life. He valued the lessons athletics provided to students and believed that hard work and sportsmanship were important to the development of an individual. He enjoyed sports very much and one of his favorite events was the Pendleton State Basketball Tournament which he was the Assistant Tournament Director. He loved being with his family and spending time with them at special events. He had a special relationship with his grandson Will and all of his granddaughters.
Bill is survived by his wife Sharon of Chiloquin OR; son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Melanie McCadden of Enterprise OR; daughter Dixie McCadden and partner Jodi Wolsky of Portland OR; son and daughter-in-law Matthew and Becky McCadden of Klamath Falls OR; daughter and son-in-law Sally and Levi Reeves; brother and sister-in-law Floyd and Donna McCadden in Enterprise OR; grandchildren Alexandra and William McCadden, Haleigh Mae Cook, Chealsea McCadden and Krista, Kaylee and Hannah Childers. He was preceded in death by his parents.

At the request of the deceased a private family celebration will be held at a later date.
