William "Bill" Kangas
July 6, 1979-October 6, 2008


A beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend left us on October 6, 2008.

He was one of the best men on earth and will be greatly missed. Bill was born in McCall, Idaho from which he moved to La Grande, Oregon until 2006 when he moved to the Boise area for the remainder of his life installing fire and security alarms. Bill's passions were spending quality time with his wife and children, taking rides on his Harley and listening to a variety of music. He was one of the kindest people in the world, who always put everyone else ahead of himself. Bill was a hard working man and provided a good life for his family. We all loved him more than anyone will ever imagine.

He left behind a wife Dawn Marie, 4 children Tristen, Ashlyn, Mykiah and Hailie, parents Bill and Carol Kangas, sisters, Stephanie and Bobbie, nieces, nephews, Grandma Blondie and Grandpa Dick.

A memorial will be held in La Grande, Oregon at Daniels~Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center, 1502 7th Street in La Grande, at 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2008 with a potluck reception following at the Methodist Church.
