Warren Willard Evans

Warren Willard Evans, age 70, died January 24, 2022 in Oregon City.  A graveside service will be announced later by Daniels-Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center.   Warren was born in LaGrande, OR on December 10, 1951 to Warren David and Helen (Hamlin) Evans.  He graduated from LaGrande High School in 1970 and worked in various positions for the State of Oregon in LaGrande until his retirement.   Warren enjoyed hunting, hiking, archery, working with electronics, and was a member of Union County Search and Rescue.  He attended LaGrande Church of the Nazarene.  His greatest joy in life was his family.   Warren was preceded in death by his parents, his son Enoch Evans, and his step-daughter Sarah Evans.  Survivors include his daughters, Tabitha Saletri if Florida and Melody Evans of LaGrande, as well as former step-son Jason Evans, former wife  April VanTassell and sister Joyce Valentine and family of Idaho.
