Vicki (Dixie) Lorelle Keep, age 75, of Union, died June 2, 2015 at the Grande Ronde Hospital. Family celebration will be held in Salem, OR at a later date. Dixie was born on April 18, 1940, the daughter of Lyle and Dorothy (Pillette) Shepherd in Salem, Oregon. She graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School in Salem. On June 14, 1960 she married Larry Hamilton, Larry and Dixie had four boys together, and later divorced. She worked as a case and office manager for the Oregon Child Support Services in Salem. On May 23, 1968 she was the hostess for the Robert F. Kennedy Campaign in Salem. On October 28, 1987 she married George Keep in Salem. In 1998 they moved to Christmas Valley. After George's death she moved to Pendleton and than later to Union. She enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, golfing, building projects with her husband George and gambling.
Survivors include her children, Scott and Amy Hamilton of Salem, Daron and Toni Hamilton of Summerville, Derek and Tammy Hamilton of Summerville and Tyler Hamilton of Portland; brother, Lyle 'Skeet' and Connie Shepherd of Keizer; sisters, Dottie Domogalla of Tigard and Danny Wernli; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Sharee Shepherd Breci and granddaughter, Audrey Hamilton.
