Travis Lee Cameron, 37, of Enterprise, died Jan. 21. A memorial service was held Jan. 30 at the Enterprise Elks Lodge. Bollman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Travis was born Sept. 5, 1971, to Ray and Patty (Johnson) Cameron in Ontario. He spent his childhood between Adrian and Wallowa counties, graduating in 1990 from Wallowa High School.
He trained as a diesel mechanic at Blue Mountain Community College, graduating with honors.
Travis married DeAnn Harrison, June 20, 1998, in Lostine.
Since the age of 12, Travis worked with his father and later with his brother, Nick, in the woods at the family's logging business. In 2000, the family purchased the Enterprise Ace Hardware store and Travis began dividing his time between the store and logging.
He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, camping and snowmobiling.
Travis is survived by his wife, DeAnn (Harrison) Cameron of Enterprise; stepson, Zack Harrison of Bend; parents, Ray and Patty Cameron of Lostine; sister, Cindy (Cameron) Shirley and her husband, Jesse, of
La Grande; brother, Nick Cameron and his wife, Jenifer, of Enterprise; grandmother, Georgia (Ward) Cameron of Adrian; and two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Keith Cameron and Art and Evelyn Johnson.
