Prayer for the Astronauts

Lord please take these hero's into your heart as they ascend to Heaven.  They gave their lives for the benefit of all mankind.  Bless the families of the fallen as they prepare for this time of great loss.  Our heart, thoughts and prayers are with them, God Bless.

In Loving Memory of

Shuttle Commander Rick Douglas Husband, age 45, a U.S. Air Force Colonel.  He was born on July 12, 1957 in Amarillo, Texas.  He was married with two children.

Shuttle Pilot William C. McCool, age 41, a U.S. Navy Commander.  He was born on September 23, 1961 in San Diego, California.  He leaves a wife.

Shuttle Payload Commander Michael Anderson, age 43, a U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel.  He was born on December 25, 1959 in Plattsburgh, New York and called Spokane, Washington his home.  He leaves a wife.

Kalpana Chawla, age 41, an aerospace engineer and commercial pilot.  She was born in Karnal, India and studied in the United States and began working for NASA in 1988 and joine the astronaut program in 1994.

Laurel Blair Clark, age 41, a U.S. Navy Commander and a physician.  She was born in Iowa but called Racine, Wisconsin her home.  This was her first voyage in space.  She leaves a husband and one child.

David Brown, age 46, a U.S. Navy Captain and surgeon.  He was born on Paril 16, 1956 in Arlington, Virginia.  He was unmarried.

Ilan Ramon, age 48, an Israeli Air Force Colonel.  He was the first Israeli to go into space.  He leaves a wife and four children.
