Terri Lynne (Gerlach) Searles

Terri Lynne (Gerlach) Searles, 48 of La Grande, died Monday, July 2, 2007 at St. Alphonsos Medical Center in Boise.

A graveside service will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 10 at the Island City Cemetery.

Terri was born July 16, 1958 in La Grande, the daughter of Harlin and La Velle (Hemphill) Gerlach. She was raised and educated here graduating from La Grande High School with the class of 1976.

Terri was a member of the Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church in Island City. She was formerly a member of the La Grande Emblem Club. She enjoyed arts and craft work, working in the yard and flower gardening.

Survivors include her children, Josh and his wife Amber Searles of Boise, Cody Searles of Florida and Jessica Searles of Boise; grandsons, Cane and Camryn Searles; parents, Harlin and La Velle Gerlach of Island City; sister, Tammy Gerlach of Boring; aunt, Donna Booth; uncle, Ron Gerlach; nephews and niece, Jeremy, Matt and Gennifer Gerlach Barber; great aunts, Freida Johnson, Beulah Taal, Aileen Taal; great uncle, Wes Taal; and best friend, Mick Alam.
