Shirley Elaine Taylor

Shirley Elaine Taylor, age 85, died Sunday, September 20th at her home in Cove.
A memorial service will be held on October 10th at 2:00 p.m. at the Cove Sportsman's Club. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels-Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center.
Shirley was born on April 19 1930 in Ennis, Montana, the daughter of John Victor and Gladys (McClosky) Beart. She went to grade school and part of high school in McMinnville. Then the family moved to Rock Creek and she finished high school at Baker High School. In February of 1958 she married Denver Taylor. Mrs. Taylor worked for a long time in Wilcress Acres a nursery out of Tualatin before moving to Cove in the late 80s. Her husband preceded her in death on April 21, 1996.
Shirley was a member of the Cove Sportsman's Club. She loved to go for rides in the mountains, drives out of town and especially being a grandmother.
Survivors include her children, Doug & Debra , Chris and Candi, of Cove, Sue Taylor of Kent, WA, Mike & Beth of Newberg, Sheri & Jimmy Worthy of Chandler, OK; sister, Lois St Aubin of Tucsan, AZ; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
