Rustin Freeman

Rustin Freeman, 36, of La Grande, died April 28 at his home. A celebration of life will begin at 6 tonight at the Columbia View Community Church in Irrigon. Another celebration of life will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Faith Center in Island City.

Rustin was born Feb. 9, 1974, to Ken Freeman and Nina Buggs Freeman. In addition to being a dean's list geology major at EOU, Rustin along with his wife, enjoyed raising Boxers and spending time with their dogs.

Rustin is survived by his wife, Sarah Messenger Freeman of La Grande; children, Josh Freeman and Samantha Freeman; father, Ken Freeman of Irrigon; mother, Nina Buggs of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sister, Dawn Casas of Minster, Colo.; and grandmother, Luella Freeman of Irrigon.
