Rosalie B. Cordell

Rosalie B. Cordell, age 85, of La Grande and formerly of Durkee, died at a local care center on December 30, 2004. Celebration of life services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at Loveland Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home.

Mrs. Cordell was born August 31, 1919 to Henry and Mary Henderson Reandeau in Hennessy, Oklahoma. She lived in Sweet Home, Elgin and for the last few years in Durkee. She enjoyed working in her garden, crochet and visiting with family.

Survivors include children, Faye Thomas of Elgin, Duane Cordell of Sweet Home, Jean Houston of Durkee, Charlene Forcum and La Rayne Edwards, both of Eugene, and Nancy Mae Brill of Vancouver, Washington; 23 grandchildren; 70 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; three sisters, Thelma Haddock, Darlene Brown and Lenora Lund, all of Primrose, California; two brothers, Richard Reandeau of Elgin and Ronald Reandeau of Arkansas.
