Ronald "Ronnie" Leroy Feik

Ronald Leroy Feik, age 63, of La Grande, died Thursday, March 17, 2005 at the Grande Ronde Hospital. A service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Valley. Interment will follow at the Summerville Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Valley.

Ronnie was born on May 31, 1941, the son of Floyd and Andrea (Ainsworth) Feik in La Grande. He attended school in Imbler and helped on the family farm with the cows and later was his parent's caregiver. He most recently worked for New Day Enterprises.

Ronnie loved people, going to church and collecting Teddy Bears. Every Friday he went to the Senior Center for lunch and danced. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing. He was proud of his accomplishments at New Day Enterprises. He laughed and joked easily and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include his sister, Laura McKinnis of Imbler; brother and sister-in-law, Merle and Bertha Feik of La Grande; numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved grandmother.
