Ronald T. Bennett

Ronald T. Bennett, 67, of Wallowa, died April 26 at St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla. A celebration of life was held April 30 at the Christian Church in Wallowa. Archie Hook officiated. Bollman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Ronald was born Feb. 24, 1943, to Clyde and Carrie (Buckles) Bennett in Wallowa. Ronald attended Wallowa schools from first grade until graduating from high school. He received an accounting and business degree from Blue Mountain Community College.

He owned Little Bear Drive-in and was a member of the Christian Church in Wallowa

Ronald married Janice L. Doud April 25, 1969, in Wallowa.

Survivors include daughters, Rhonda and her husband, Leon Fuller, of La Grande, Raenita and her husband, Jack Deal, of Wallowa, Rheesa and her husband, Chad Savage, of Wallowa, and Rebecca Bennett of Wallowa; son, Jeffrey Bennett of Wallowa; brothers, Bob Bennett of Lostine and Vern Bennett of Enterprise; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Geneva Eckley.
