Roddy Glen Campbell, 68, of Summerville, died March 21 on the farm he loved. A private family service will be held at Summerville Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 23, 1942, to Glen and Arleen (Choate) Campbell in La Grande. He graduated from Imbler High School where he was a member of FFA. He married Joyce Ann Scott on Aug. 24, 1960.
Roddy spent his life farming and ranching on the family farm in Summerville. As his kids grew up, he was active in their activities, including being a 4-H leader. He loved riding horses and being around animals. Later on, he enjoyed attending all of his grandchildren's events including rodeo, sports and showing their animals.
Roddy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joyce; his four children and their spouses, all of Summerville, Sheri Campbell, Rocky and Diana Campbell, Scott and Nancy Campbell and Heidi and Barry Bowers; and many grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Imbler FFA Roddy Campbell Scholarship Fund
