Roberta Moore Barnes

Roberta Moore Barnes, age 64, of La Grande, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at her home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grandview Cemetery.

Roberta was born on June 6, 1942, the daughter of Charles Edwin and Rita C. (Hazelwood) Moore in Pendleton, Oregon. She was the great granddaughter of Joseph Vey. She spent most of her life in the Pendleton and La Grande area. She married Daniel Barnes and they had fifteen years together until his untimely death in 1997. Roberta was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and enjoyed rebating, quilting and liked horses.

Survivors include her brothers, Leland Moore of Bend and Mark Clark of Seaside; sister, Kay Craven of Bend and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the GRH Hospice in care of Daniels Chapel of the Valley, 1502 7th Street, La Grande, Oregon 97850.
