Robert "Bob" Eugene Coles

September 7, 1966 — September 27, 2006

An avid snowboarder, cliff jumper, campter, beginning sailor, pinochle player, model railroader, University of Oregon alumnus and Duck fan, ATO Fraternity memeber, loving husband and father of two, Robert Coles passed away surrounded by his family September 27th at his home in Clackamas, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Norma Coles and brother Curtis.

A natural salesman with a quick wit, Bob worked for United Pipe and Supply for eight years. He found an incredibly upportive and caring community in his company. Diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Chaolangitis and liver cancer three years ago, he lived life to the fullest until the end. He survived long enough to take onw last dream vacation to Hawaii before passing away. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Bob leaves behind his wife, Kathleen, sons, Will and Conor, brothers, Bill and Steve, nieces, Shelby Muhic, Katie Patterson, Sara Shearer and Jenny Chase; nepehw, Jim Coles; childhood neighbors, Betty, Don, Dana and Deanna Beith and innumerable friends who loved him.

The family would like to thank Derek Fox, Jason Mosebar, Patti Ramsey, Jerry Thomas and all at United Pipe and Supply; Ralph and Linda Inman, Bob and Cindy Heitstuman, Ron and Cindy Norman, Providence Home Hospice, Drs. Brett Sheppard, Richard Blanke, Richard Maunder, the Oncology Department at OHSU and all of the supportive friends and family.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held at McMenamin's Edgefield, 2126 SW Halsey, Troutdale, on Monday, October 9th at 6:00 p.m. in Blackberry Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Providence Home Hospice.
