Richard "Rick" Noddin

Richard "Rick" Noddin, age 57, of Oxbow and formerly of La Grande died December 19, 2004 at the VA Hospital in Walla Walla after a short illness. A celebration of life will begin at 4:00 p.m. on January 15, 2005 at the American Legion Hall, 301 Fir. Street.

Mr. Noddin was born January 27, 1947 to Richard MacDonald and Marjorie Pearl Vincent Noddin in Oakland, California. From 1996 to 2003 he lived in La Grande where he worked at Lynch Motors and played in a pool league. On March 18, 2000 he married Nancy Herrmann. The coupled lived in Burns and managed a motel until his retirement when they moved to Oxbow. He enjoyed fishing, family barbecues and visiting with friends.

Survivors include his wife of Oxbow; children, Heidi Ruth of Sartell, Minnesota, Kady Murray and Heather Gaston, both of Pendleton and Jeff Olsen of St. Cloud, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; siblings, Liz Lewis of La Grande, Margie Petredis of Cove and Judith, Jan Marie, Robert and Charlie Noddin, all of California, and other relatives.
