Richard Ray Fuller, age 83, of Cove, died October 3, 2008, at a local care facility. A funeral will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in La Grande. Committal and interment will follow at the Summerville Cemetery.
Mr. Fuller was born on September 14, 1925, the son of Russell Ray and Lema Lanetta (Moss) Fuller, in La Grande. He graduated from La Grande High School and on September 22, 1946 he married Evelyn Miriam Scott in La Grande. He farmed his family's Century Farm, which was established by his pioneer great grandparents. He loved traveling with the Tri-Mtn. Good Sam group and was a past State Assistant Director of Good Sam. He was a former member of the Elks Lodge and was a member of both the La Grande and the Baker City Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Fuller of Cove; daughters, Gail Moser and Ginger Key and husband, Lyle Davidson, all of Cove; son, Richard and wife, Vickie Fuller of Elko, Nevada; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. He has joined his great grandparents, grandparents, parents and daughter, Leslie Melvin.
Those who wish may make contributions in Mr. Fuller's memory to the Diabetes Association, United Methodist Church, Shriner's Hospital for Children or Doernbecker Children's Hospital.
