Rev. Harry Ralph Moran

Rev. Harry Ralph Moran, age 96, of La Grande, died Monday, January 24, 2005 at his home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Valley. Private interment will be at the Hillcrest East Cemetery.

Rev. Moran was born on August 10, 1908, the son of Augustus and Clara (Herron) Moran in Snohomish, Washington. On August 9, 1937 he married Juanita Albee in Snohomish. He worked as a missionary pastor for the Navajo Reservation for many years. In August if 1973 they moved to La Grande and he worked in the nursing home ministry for many years. He enjoyed playing instruments and doing his work.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Moran of La Grande; son, Harry Moran, Jr. of La Grande and Arizona; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Four brothers preceded him in death.
