The reason this information is being posted on our site is for the Chevy Avalanche Fan Club of North America. They are a group of fantastic people from all over the country who are connected by their love of the Chevy Avalanche. They have a web-site dedicated to the group. It has been the experience of this funeral home owner's son that these are very generous and welcoming people. This young man Pete, "Goo929" as he was known to the fan club, welcomed this funeral directors' sons to San Antonio just this October. Pete took the boys to car wars, toured the city and took them to an Avalanche Club Meeting while visiting Texas.

Pete was one of the founding moderators of the web-site and many people read his posts. He organized many cruises and meet and greets in Texas and was planning on attending the National Cruise coming up this year. He loved going to "Hooters" and putting modifications on his Chevy Avalanche. He will be known for his "purple neons" and will be missed by many.

If you would like to find out what others are saying about Pete or leave a contribution in his memory you can visit the Chevy Avalanche web-site and under "Forums" click on "Chevy Avalanche Zone" and you will find links to several topics on this well liked young man. The web-site address is: www.chevyavalanchefanclub.com

Note: Pete is the 5th person from the left. This photo was taken in October at the Meet and Greet in San Antonio when our family visited.

January 6th- Information was received regarding the funeral that was held on January 4th.

Fellow clubmember Dave02Z66 towed Goo's Avalance in the funeral procession. There were a total of 24 Avalances and an additional 50 cars in the procession. This is a true tribute to a good man! The contributions and memories shared by this group for Goo are amazing.
