Peggy Arlene Nolan, 84, of La Grande, died April 11 at Evergreen Health and Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will take place at North Powder Cemetery at a later date. Gray's West & Co. Pioneer Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Peggy was born Dec. 17, 1924, to George and Hazel (Lukus) Woodhams. She worked most of her life in food service as a cook and waitress. She enjoyed knitting, handwork and painting.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Sharon Dinning of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; sister, Jean Pettigrew of Sumter, S.C.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Nolan; son, Thomas Nolan; brother, Virgil Woodhams; and sister, Dolores Funky.
