Patricia Eileen Henry, 56, of John Day, died July 26 at her home. The funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in John Day with Bishop Gary Delaney officiating. Burial will be at the Elgin Cemetery.
Mrs. Henry was born Oct. 14, 1949, to Ralph Richard and Thelma Jane Miller in Nampa, Idaho. She graduated from Valivue High School in Nampa, and married Ken Henry March 27, 1970, in Logan, Utah. She worked in the Grant County 4-H office as an assistant.
She was a member of the LDS Church and served in various callings, including teaching seminary. She was an accomplished pianist and organist, and she enjoyed knitting booties for the newborns at Blue Mountain Hospital, gardening, photography and baking.
Survivors include her husband of John Day; children and their spouses, Kristal and Chris Peck of Highland, Utah, Duane and Joan Henry of John Day, Kevin and Lisa Henry of Lehi, Utah; Ami and Fernando Silva of Springville, Utah, and Heidi and Loren Mullin of Las Vegas, Nev.; her parents of Nampa, and 15 grandchildren.
