Norma Louise Wilkinson

Norma Louise Wilkinson, 85, of La Grande died January 20, 2006 at a local care center. A celebration of life will begin at 2 pm Monday at Loveland Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Wilkinson was born September 4, 1920, to Jess and Blanche Knox Cox in Union. She graduated from Union High School and on June 26, 1938 she married Gilbert Wilkinson in La Grande. The couple had a farm in Telocaset form the 1940's to the mid 1950's. She moved to Oregon City in the mid-1970's.

She enjoyed needlework, embroidery and dancing. She worked as a tour guide at the McLoughlin House in Oregon City and was a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include children and their spouses, Dennis and Pamela Wilkinson of Cove and Diana and Michael Koon of Brooklyn, Michigan; a sister, Lodema Asper of La Grande; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Her husband, a sister, Edna Cox and four brothers, Noy, Leyton, Jack and Bob Cox, all died earlier.
