Norma R. Thomas Posey

Norma Rose Posey, age 88, of La Grande, died Thursday, October 20, 2005 at a local care facility. A viewing and prayer service will be held on Tuesady, October 24, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Valley. Her final resting place will be in Caldwell, Idaho.

Mrs. Posey was born on October 31, 1916, the daughter of Clarence and Lottie (Dutton) Moler in Boise, Idaho. She was a licensed physical therapist and worked for chiropractors during her working years. On April 19, 1984 she married Estel Posey and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2002. She enjoyed sewing and playing the piano for the Cove Baptist Church where she attended.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Therese Emry of Fort Mill, South Carolina; brother and sister-in-law, Curtis and Delilah Moler of Las Vegas, Nevada; nephew, Thomas Moler of Las Vegas; nieces, Vicki Paine of Bainbridge Island, Washington and Mildred Lloyd of Summerville; and other relatives and friends. Her son, Gil C. Emry preceded her in death on July 19, 2003.

The family requests that instead of sending flowers make contributions to the Summerville Baptist Church in care of Daniels Chapel of the Valley, 1502 7th Street, La Grande, Oregon 97850.
