Nancy Ann Stone

Nancy Ann Stone, 68, of La Grande, died May 21 at Grande Ronde Hospital.

A memorial gathering will run from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 6 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church parish hall, 1410 L Ave. in La Grande. Use the K Street entrance. A handicapped-accessible entrance will be available.

Nancy was born Dec. 14, 1941, to Adam and Elizabeth Lump Freer in Chicago, Ill. She was raised and educated in Chicago and moved to La Grande in 1978. She loved cats and spending time in the mountains.

Nancy is survived by her children, Lori and her husband, Russ Grove, of La Grande and Richard and his wife, Darcia Stone, of La Grande; brother, William Freer of Cicro, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of a worship service, refreshments will be served and small tokens in remembrance of Nancy will be available for friends and loved ones. For questions, call 541-786-8747.
