Morri Mae Claudy

September 13, 1935 — March 30, 2014

Morri Mae Claudy (Myrtle Morrison Coffer Claudy), age 78, of Union, Oregon and formerly of Ventura, California, and Bentonville, Arkansas, died March 30th, 2014 at her home. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 5th, at the Carpinteria cemetery.

Morri was born on September 13, 1935, the daughter of Troy and Maggie (Branscum) Morrison in Timbo, Arkansas. She worked as a waitress and hostess in the restaurant business for many years. She moved to Union in August of 2012 to be with her daughter and her family. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, crocheting doilies and writing poetry. She especially enjoyed cooking for family and  cooking with the grandkids and great grandkids.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Reed Ralston of Union, Oregon and Tammi and David Robbins of Oak View, California; stepson Ronnie and Michelle Claudy of Spokane;  sister Billie Lou Lyman of Cypress, Ca.; four grandchildren Shandy (Joseph), Milo (Kelli), Haley (Chris), Kelsy (Ski); six great grandchildren and one on the way.; and Niece Kathy (Greg) Bull of Lakeland, Fl.; nephew Troy Lyman of Temecula and many other nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends, and her little beloved white dog, Kiki.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Leigha Dawn Coffer, former husband J.E. Coffer, husband Ron Claudy sister, Nola Fay, brother Bob, and brother in law Larry Lyman.
