Michael Rynearson

Michael Rynearson, age 53, of La Grande, died September 17, 2003 at the Grande Ronde Hospital of natural causes.

A celebration of life will begin at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. September 23, 2003 at Loveland Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Viewing will be from 3 to 7 pm on Monday.

Mr. Rynearson was born August 17, 1950 to George W. "Bill" and Martha (Bush) Rynearson in Baker City, Oregon. He graduated from La Grande High School in 1968 and attended Eastern Oregon State College. He served in the Army with Troop A of the 1st battalion, 17th Cavalry and served two tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed helping the disabled, being active in the community, fishing, hunting, farming, gardening and being with his friends and family.

Survivors include his father of La Grande; a daughter, Kerri Leigh Rynearson of High Point, North Carolina; a brother and sister, David Rynearson and Debbie Rynearson, both of La Grande; and other relatives. His mother died earlier.
