Max Ferguson

A fine, kind gentle-man has left this earth, but not our hearts.

A memorial service for Max Ferguson, 90, will be held at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church on Saturday May 13th at 11 AM. Father Hank Albrecht will officiate. A luncheon in the Parish Hall will be held after the service.

Mr. Ferguson passed away in his sleep May 5, 2006 at his residence in La Grande.

He was born February 29, 1916 in Marysville, Utah to Bob and Nora (Ogelvie) Ferguson, the sixth of eight children.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Irene (Anderson) , two sons Douglas of Mt. Vernon and Dennis of La Grande ; brother, LB of Nyssa and sisters Arr O'Connell of Baker City, Marcelle O'Connell of Baker City and Wilrose Drake of Salem, Oregon; six grandchildren ,ten great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren. Sisters Una and Gala and brother Doy are deceased.

In lieu of flowers , memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice in care of Daniels Chapel of the Valley, 1502 7th Street, La Grande.
