Mary Adele Paroz

Mary Adele Rollins Paroz, age 78, of Imbler died May 26, 2009 at the Grande Ronde Hospital. A service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summerville Cemetery Chapel. A gathering for the family and friends will follow at the Jewel Rebekah Lodge #96 at the IOOF hall in Summerville.

Mary Adele was born on February 23, 1931 to Halbert and Ruth (Littreal) Rollins in La Grande. She graduated from Imbler High School and went to work for Pacific Northwest Bell for over 30 years. She enjoyed sewing and working in her rose garden. She married Kenneth Sanderson and they had two sons. She later married Leon Paroz and they had on son.

She was preceded in death by her son, Russell Sanderson, parents and a brother, Worth Rollins. She is survived by her husband, Leon Paroz of Imbler; sons, Dwayne Sanderson of Post Falls, Idaho, Claren Paroz of La Grande; step-daughter, Susan Freeman of Baker City; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Thelma Jean Rollins of La Grande.

Memorial comtributions may be made to the Jewel Rebekah Lodge #96 or a charity of your choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels~Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life, Celebration Center.
