Mary Eleanor Apple born in Los Angeles, CA. passed from this life to the next on April 29, 2009. To know Mary - was to be blessed! She lived her life to the fullest to the very end, and she loved deeply and forever her family, her Jesus and her friends.

Dearly loved wife of Richard Park, of Cove, OR. and beloved Mother of Cathy (Ric) Krohn, Christina (Bob) Osborne and Stacie (Mark) Ponton. She was also a proud Grandmother of nine and Great-grandmother of six. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Jefferson and Christopher Elmendorf and husband Richard (Mike) Edmunds of Elgin, OR.

Mary was a treasured member of The Faith Center in Island City and devoted Bible Study Leader of the "Grannies". As a wonderful friend, Mary kept in contact with her "Grapevine" ladies for more than 60 years. She is famous in the Grande Rhonde Valley for her delicious zucchini bread, home-made caramels and her lovely artwork.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Faith Center, 10300 South "D" St. in Island City on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 1:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in her name to The Faith Center.
