Mary Hunter Logan

Mary Hunter Logan, age 91, of Citrus Heights, California and formerly of La Grande, died Thursday morning, December 30, 2004 at Mercy San Juan Hospital, Carmichael, CA.



A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Church of Christ, 2107 Gekeler Lane, La Grande. Committal and interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, La Grande.



Mary was born on April 17, 1913, the daughter of William Johnson and Georgia Margaret (Luce) Hunter in Spur, TX. On February 22, 1950 she married Marvin C. Logan in Reno, Nevada. They moved to La Grande from California in April of 1964. She loved to sew, cook, tend to her beautiful roses and would never turn down a trip to jet ski! Mary was a member of the La Grande Church of Christ and the Royal Neighbors.



She leaves behind, two sons: George Butler of Citrus Heights, CA and Richard Butler of Port Orchard, WA. Two brothers: Joe Hunter of Phoenix, AZ and Willie Hunter of Scottsdale, AZ; Six Grandchildren and Several Great Grandchildren. She was

preceded in death by her dear husband Marvin, her brother,John Hunter and two sisters, Frankie Evans and Selma Spreg.
