Mary Theresa Green

Mary Theresa Green, age 62, of Elgin, died November 28, 2009 at the Grande Ronde Hospital. The celebration of life will be held December 8th at 2:oo p.m. at the Christian Life Center in Elgin.

Mary was born on December 15, 1946, the daughter of Arthur and Isabell (Brown) Wikowsky in Nokomis, Illinois. She was educated in Illinois and went to nursing school. She married Bud Green and they lived in Springfield, Illinois until 1979 when they moved to Elgin. In 1986 they moved to Palmyra, Wisconsin until March of 1999 when they moved back to Elgin. Mary belonged to a quilting club and a garden club. She loved sewing, quilting and most of all watching football. She also loved spending as much time as possible with her granddaughter.

Survivors include her daughter, Shelley Green-Vance and her husband, Robert Vance of Elgin; granddaughter, Madalynn Koeffler of Elgin; brother, Larry Wikowsky of Portland; best friend, Karen Nasura and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband.
