Mary Boynton Chrisman, 72, of Ridgeway, Texas, and formerly of La Grande, died Aug. 5 at a hospital in Paris, Texas. Burial was at the Ridgeway Cemetery.
Mrs. Chrisman was born June 22, 1933, to Robert and Elizabeth Gibson Boynton in Horseshoe, N.C. She grew up in La Grande, and on Sept. 27, 1955, married Wallace N. Chrisman in Eugene. They moved to Ridgeway in 1966. She worked as a waitress and in security. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include children, Michael Chrisman of Como, Texas, Wallace Chrisman Jr. and Brenda Chrisman, both of Ridgeway, Debbie Pryor of Sulphur Springs, Texas, and Tamie Nepomuceno of Belton, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her husband, and infant son, Charles, and a brother, Henry Griffin, all died earlier.
