Marjorie Luciele Martens

Marjorie Martens, age 86, of La Grande passed away on June 1, 2004 in La Grande. She was born Marjorie Luciele Alexander on March 28, 1918 to Ray and Ellen Ross Alexander in Union, Oregon.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Kris Martens of Lake Oswego, Oregon; a sister, Marceile Droke of Union; two nephews and two nieces and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Martens, sister, Agnes Rogers and her son, Niles Martens.

There will be a committal at Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum on Friday, June 4, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Those who wish may make contributions in her memory to the Blue Mtn. Humane Association in care of Daniels Chapel of the Valley.
