Marilyn Kay Lines, 63, of Baker City, died May 30 at her home. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Loveland Funeral Chapel in La Grande. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.
Marilyn was born Aug. 31, 1947, to Earle and Phyllis (Cowles) Kendall in Ontario. She attended school in Heppner and Ukiah. After graduation, she attended Lane Community College in Eugene and earned her LPN in nursing. Michelle was married twice, to Jack Howe and Jon Lines.
She enjoyed fishing and quilting.
Marilyn is survived by her long-time companion, Chuck Thrasher of Baker City; her children, Anthony Howe and his wife, Janelle, of Woodburn and Darin Howe of Woodburn; siblings and their spouses, Janet and Barnhard Shodin of Dallas, Margaret and Williard Arbogast of Pilot Rock and Lucille and Kenneth Gilliland of Ukiah; eight grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jon Lines; parents, Earle and Phyllis; and grandparents, Marion and Iva Kendall and Everard and Jesse Cowles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shelter From the Storm, Union County domestic violence protection services, in care of Loveland Funeral Chapel.
