Marie Trieber Gabler

Marie Trieber Gabler, age 91, mother of Allan R. Gabler (Melody Gabler) of La Grande and Grace M. Martin (David Martin, Jr.) of Aurora, IL, is at rest with the Lord Jesus. Marie was born in Milwaukee, WI, November 20, 1920 and died September 10 2012. Formerly of Carson, CA, Marie became a resident of La Grande in 2007, soon after the death of her husband, Russell A. Gabler. Marie was a dedicated pastor's wife and proud of her 59 years of service alongside her husband. Russell and Marie were both preceded in death by son, Daniel Lee Gabler and grandson, Christopher Allan Martin. Besides her son and daughter, Marie leaves four grandchildren, Michelle Perez of Westchester, IL, Laurel Nicholson of Westchester, IL, David A. Martin of Aurora, IL and Andrew Gabler of Corvallis, OR; eight great-grandchildren, one brother, Gottlieb Trieber of Santa Maria, CA and one sister, Molly Goree of Vista, CA. Marie will be interred alongside her husband at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Gardena, CA. The family requests memorial gifts to be sent to Wycliffe Associates, 11450 Translation Way, PO Box 62143, Orlando, FL 32862 in memory of Marie T. Gabler. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels~Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center.
