Marian Louise Frost

Marian Louise Frost, 76, of North Powder, died Oct. 4 at her home surrounded by family.

A graveside service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at North Powder Cemetery.

Marian was born July 18, 1934, to Cecil Arthur and Margaret Catherine (Bierman) Hixson in Nampa, Idaho. She graduated from Union High School, and married Robert Frost in 1952.

Marian lived at Pilot Rock, Klamath Falls and numerous other cities before settling in North Powder where she has lived with her companion, Elvin Simonis, for more than 40 years.

Marian is survived by her companion, Elvin; three daughters, Patricia Frost of Kennewick, Marjory Lang and her husband, Dewayne, of Baker City and Teresa Fisler of North Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Doris Wallis of Salem; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bud Hixson.
