Lynda Lee Hulse, age 63, of La Grande, died Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at her home in La Grande following an extended illness.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 21, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Valley with Pastor Steve Kirkeby of Valley Fellowship officiating. Committal and interment will follow at Bramlet Cemetery in Wallowa.
Mrs. Hulse was born on September 19, 1938, the daughter of David and Wilma (Stuart) Robins in La Grande. On April 30, 1955 she married Duane Hulse in La Grande. They owned and operated Odorless Dry Cleaners, where she was seamstress, for many years.
Mrs. Hulse was active with a Business Women's Financial Group for many years and was also a member of the Mavericks, the Eagles and a Snowmobile Club. She enjoyed crocheting, four-wheeling, camping and the outdoors. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Duane Hulse of La Grande; children, David Hulse of Summerville, Juanita Rolan of Redmond, Cindy Hamblin of Grants Pass and Dennis Hulse of Post Falls, Idaho; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brothers, Bill Robins of Boise and Ernie Robins of Nashville, Arkansas; sister, Sharon Thomas of New York; and other relatives and friends.
Those who wish may make contributions in memory of Mrs. Hulse to the GRH Home Care Services in care of Daniels Chapel of the Valley, 1502 7th Street, La Grande, Oregon 97850.
