Lucille H. Hanson

Lucille H. Hanson, 93, of La Grande died January 28, 2006 at a local care center. Burial will be private. A reception from 3:30 to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 will be at 203 S. 12th St. in La Grande.

Mrs. Hanson was born June 29, 1912 to Benjamin and Harriett Bishop Becker in Chicago. In 1941 she married Vendon Prophet in Rigby, Idaho. She moved to La Grande in the early 1970's.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Venda Sheppard of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Marilyn and Allen Stroud of Twin Falls, Idaho, Lavon and Paul Olsen of Carey, Idaho and Marla Denson and Lamont Prophet, both of La Grande; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
