Lottie Rachel Mc Kinney

Lottie R. McKinney, age 91, of Cove, died Saturday, October 19, 2002 at the home of her daughter in Cove, Oregon.


A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at the Hillcrest Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniels Chapel of the Valley.


Ms McKinney was born on April 18, 1911, the daughter of George W. and Mary (Elliot) Slyter in Withrow, Washington. She enjoyed her family, sewing, quilting and crocheting. Her husband, Harry, preceded her in death in 1978.


Survivors include her daughters, Donna Johnson of Cove, Carole Burchert of Vancouver, Washington; her son Gene McKinney of La Grande; thirteen grandchildren , forty-three great grand children, and three great-great grandchildren. One great grandchild preceded her in death.
