Lorna D. Stahl, age 75, of Pendleton and formerly of Cove, died January 4, 2004 at St. Anthony Hospital. At her request there will be no service. Burial will be at the Cove Cemetery.

Mrs. Stahl was born on April 13, 1928 to Thomas and Winifred DeHass Hallmark in Cove. In the 1940's she married David Stahl in Cove. After World War II the couple returned to Cove and she worked at Terry Travel Trailers for 21 years. She enjoyed reading, writing and the outdoors but her main passion in life was writing poetry. She had some of her poems published at www.poetry.com.

Survivors include children, Don and Dean Stahl, both of Pendleton; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Her husband, a son, David, Jr., a sister and a brother all died earlier.
