Lori Jean Potter

Lori Jean Potter, 42, of La Grande died Sunday at a local care center of natural causes. The celebration of life will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church, 901 Penn Ave. A graveside service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Hermiston Cemetery.

Miss Potter was born March 27, 1963 to Jay Elton and Shirley Jean Woodward Potter in Hermiston. She moved to La Grande in 1998. She was a member of the First Christian Church and enjoyed being around people, talking on the phone, music, singing at church, dancing and hugs. She was queen for muscular dystrophy fundraising in Hermiston in the early 80's.

Survivors include her parents, a brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Mary Ann Potter and other relatives.

Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
