Linda Carol Creel

Linda Carol Creel, age 66, of La Grande, died April 9, 2007 at her home. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2007 at Daniels Chapel of the Valley, 1502 7th Street.

Mrs. Creel was born on August 6, 1940, the daughter of Harry and Audra Elizabeth (Edwards) Monroe in Rawlins, Wyoming. On July 18, 1959 she married Charles F. Creel in Los Angeles, California. In 1967 they moved to La Grande from Evanston, Wyoming. She was a devoted wife and mother and dedicated her life to them.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Creel; children, Melinda, Janet, Wade, Carol and Jeffrey; brothers, James Monroe and Harold Monroe; sisters, Sue Glenn, JoAnn Sieg and Claire Sells; numerous grandchildren and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Arthur Monroe and a sister, Evelyn Dupuis.

Those who wish may make contributions in memory of Mrs. Creel to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Cancer Society in care of Daniels Chapel of the Valley.
