Lila Leora Keller

Lila Leora Keller, age 94, of La Grande, died Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at the Grande Ronde Hospital. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Valley. Dedication of the grave and interment will follow at the Grandview Cemetery.

Mrs. Keller was born on June 30, 1909, the daughter of Isaac and Eliza Bishop Preston in Midvale, Idaho. On March 7, 1926 she married Carl John Keller in Nampa, Idaho and they made their home in La Grande. They enjoyed camping and picnicking together over the years. He preceded her in death on January 27, 1981.

Mrs. Keller was a member of the Second Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed attending church and was involved with genealogy research. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, fancy work and playing cards.

Survivors include her children, Marietta Dodds of La Grande and Jack Keller of Tacoma, Washington; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and other relatives and friends.
