Lewis Hallmark

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2006 in First Presbyterian Church in downtown Portland for Lewis Hallmark who died June 14 at age 86.

Mr. Hallmark was born July 29, 1919 in Cove. He worked in the Portland shipyards during World War II and lived in the Portland area most of his life. He was vice president of operations for Bingham Willamette (formerly Willamette Iron and Steel). In 1937 he married Winifred M. Slauson.

Survivors include his wife; daughter Anne Hallmark Newbegin; son, Bill; brother, Keith; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren
