Lena C. Marshall

La Grande, died March 28 at Grande Ronde Hospital. A funeral service will begin at

11 a.m. Friday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center on Gekeler Lane. A graveside service will follow immediately at Hillcrest Cemetery. Viewing will run from 5 to 7 tonight at Loveland Funeral Chapel, 1508 Fourth St., La Grande. Another viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the church.

Lena was born April 9, 1912, to William Henderson and Georgia Florence (Campbell) Duckett in Joplin, Mo. She attended school in La Grande and graduated from high school in La Grande. She married John Everett Winburn in 1932, and later married William Oscar Marshall in 1945.

She is survived by her three children, Darlene Faye Herron, Everett Lee Winburn and Dolores Jean Adams. Lena was preceded in death by her 12 siblings; her husband, William; and daughter, Florence Hardy, and her husband, Joe.
