Lena Bovard

Lena Bovard, age 85, of Union, died Sunday at the Grande Ronde Hospital. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 31st at 10:00 a.m. at the Union Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels~Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center.

Lena was born Lena Ewing in rural Mississippi. She migrated to San Antonia, Texas where she met her husband James Bovard. She lived in Union a large part of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, James. She is survived by her four sons, Herb of Cove, David of Walla Walla, Washington, Gary of Mesa, Arizona and Jim of New Gerry Park, California. She had eleven grandsons and 13 great grand kids. She was a wonderful lady and a great mother. She will be missed.
