January 8, 1934 — September 25, 2015

Lee Pugh, age 81, of Summerville, died September 25, 2015 at her home from kidney disease. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Summerville Cemetery Chapel. Those who wish may make contributions in her memory to the Heart and Home Hospice in care of Daniels~Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center., 1502 7th Street in La Grande.

Lee was born on January 8, 1934, the daughter of Jong Won Lee and Soon Boon Pak in Seoul, South Korea. On January19, 1965 she married Beryl Pugh at the US Embassy in Seoul, South Korea and in April of 1965 they moved to Summerville. She was a member of Soka Gakkai International USA and the Rebecca Lodge in Summerville. She loved to cook and was good at quilting, knitting, embroidery and other handiwork. She enjoyed playing Bingo regularly. She was a homemaker for years, and she worked outside the home after her children were in school. She worked at Fongs restaurant, Grande Ronde Knits, and was a caregiver for the elderly, as she loved to take care of people.

Survivors include her husband, Beryl Pugh of Summerville; children, Donna and Bruce Flanagan of La Grande, Brian and Mira Pugh of Wilsonville and Michael and Taffi Pugh of Sarasota Springs, Utah; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
