Lee Harrison Bundy, 90, of Lostine, died June 23 at Wallowa Memorial Hospital. A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lostine Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Bundy residence, 65049 Leaning Tree Road in Lostine.
Lee was born Oct. 21, 1920, to Neil and Grace (Chapin) at Osakis, Minn.
He married his wife, Mary, Dec. 13, 1941, at Osakis.
He was an avid adventurer, hunter and fisherman. Those who knew him called him the guru of Lostine Canyon.
He loved country music, dancing, telling stories, camping with his hunting buddies and family. He loved to pick mushrooms and huckleberries and spend time with his pet, Susie.
He is survived by his wife. Mary, of Lostine; four children, Grace and her husband, Randy Cherry, of Lostine, Carol Champlin of Bend, Susan and her husband, Punk Cooper, of Toutle, Wash., and Neil and his wife, Pat Bundy, of St. Helens; sisters, Hazel Swedal of Long Prairie, Minn., and Carol Judkins of Fairview; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents; brother, David; sister, Beulah; son, Jim; and granddaughter, Brenda Champin.
Memorials may be given to any charity in care of Bollman Funeral Home.
