Lavelle Fazzari

June 6, 1935 — January 29, 2006

LaVelle Fazzari, 70, of Walla Walla died Jan. 29. Burial was at Mountain View Cemetery in Walla Walla.

Mrs. Fazzari was born June, 6, 1935, to Charles and Eva Shane Taylor in Milton-Freewater. She graduated from La Grande High School in 1953 and on June 12, 1954, married Rudy Fazzari in Walla Walla. She worked at grocery and retail stores and retired in 1994. She was a member of the Catholic Church and served on the St. Francis Parish Council, and was a member of St. Ann's Altar Society and the Italian Heritage Association. She enjoyed traveling to the Oregon Coast and being with her family.

Survivors include children and their spouses, Jaynie and Bryan Blanc of Burbank, Wash., and Steve and Delia Fazzari of Spokane; four grandchildren; siblings and their spouses Dean and Marilyn Taylor and Virginia Taylor, all of Walla Walla, Mary Taylor of Tacoma, Wash., Joan and Bill Pontarolo, Mike and Doris Fazzari, and Carol and Ed Stephans of Spokane; and other relatives.

Her husband, and infant daughter, Cynthia, and brothers, Darrel, Norm, Mick and Ardele Taylor, all died earlier.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary Regional Cancer Center, DeSales Catholic School or any charity.
